Ergonis Software has rolled out KeyCue 9.2, an update of their keyboard shortcut cheat sheet for macOS. The new version enhances the emoji feature of KeyCue 9 and is now also notarized by Apple.
This means that the software has been uploaded to Apple before distribution, and Apple has confirmed that all executables are signed correctly and that the app doesn’t contain malware.
- What's new in KeyCue Family Pack Version 9.8: KeyCue is now ready for Big Sur Files and folders can be suppressed in the folder view by prefixing their names with a dash or by attaching the Finder tag '-KeyCue' to them.
- If you purchased a KeyCue license on or after 1 October 2017, you can upgrade to KeyCue 9 for free. For licenses purchased before that date, upgrades cost €9.99 for individuals and €14.99 for a family pack.
You can also use a tool like KeyCue to display command keys and macro hot keys. To further help with this, if multiple macros are executed with the same hot key, the conflicting macros are displayed in a palette allowing you to select the desired macro. KeyCue 9.2 requires macOS 10.7 or later. The upgrade is free for anyone who purchased a license for KeyQue 8 or KeyCue 9 on or after Oct. 1, 2017. Upgrade paths are available for owners of older licenses. For new users the cost is $19.99 for a single user license and $29.95 for a family pack.

A single individual/business license covers a single user with up to two computers.
Similarly, multiple licenses cover multiple users with up to two computers each.

A family pack license allows you to install and use the software on up to five computers as long as those computers are used only by family members living in the same private household and are used for private purposes only. The family pack license does not extend to business or commercial users.

Full-time students, teachers, lecturers or other staff members in the education sector can request a coupon code for a 30 % educational discount (not applicable to upgrades) by sending an e-mail message to our customer service providing a copy of their faculty/student ID card together with the name and address of the institution and their role there.
Upgrade policy
The upgrade to KeyCue 9 is free for anyone who purchased a license for KeyCue 8 or KeyCue 9 on or after October 1st 2017. In this case, no purchase is required. Just download the new version and continue using your license key. If you do not qualify for a free upgrade, you can order an upgrade at a reduced price (see table). Minor upgrades are free for license owners of the corresponding major version.
Minor updates are free for license owners of the corresponding major version. I.e., purchases (new and upgrades alike) include all subsequent minor upgrades of the current major version 9 at no additional cost.

Distribution
Our products are being distributed as ESD (electronic software download) products on a try-before-you-buy basis. You don't have to purchase the product before downloading it. Instead, we encourage you to download and test any product for free BEFORE your purchase.
Try before you buy
Trial versions have some limitations or bring up a registration reminder from time to time. To remove the limitations of trial mode, you need to purchase a license key. You do not need to download the product again. Just enter your license key in the registration dialog to turn the trial version into the fully functioning product.

If you want to install the software on many computers and don't want to fiddle around with license keys, we recommend using a site license.
A site license reduces your administrative work because you do not need to keep track of multiple license keys. Instead you get a special site package that considerably simplifies installation of the software on many computers.
